IENE’s «4th Energy Week»

The Institute of Energy for SE Europe is organizing, once more, the “Energy Week” and its annual National Energy Conference. IENE’s "4th Energy Week", will start on Monday November 22, 2010 and run until Saturday November 27, 2010, in Athens covering a wide range of activities in the entire energy spectrum.

Morning and evening workshops, special presentations, press conferences and a B2B extended gathering as well as the  15th “Energy & Development" Conference will provide detailed and thorough information on the latest developments in the markets of electricity, solid fuels, crude oil, natural gas, as well as in the sectors of Renewable Energy Sources (RES), Energy Conservation, Cogeneration and Environmental Protection.

The key energy developments in SE Europe will be covered in a special session which will deal with regional energy issues. The results of IENE’s long-awaited study on “SE Europe Energy Outlook” will also be presented in this session.

The role of this major IENE event in promoting the dialogue on the Greek energy agenda is also underlined by the support from leading energy companies. The 15th “Energy & Development" Conference is sponsored by Mytilineos Holdings, Hellenic Petroleum Public Gas Corporation SA (DEPA) and TERNA, while supporters include EGL, PPC Renewables, DESFA and Siemens.

The Energy Week is organized under the auspices of the Hellenic Ministry of Development and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in cooperation with the World Energy Council (WEC), and will take place at the “Ethniki Asfalistiki” Conference Center (103-105 Syggrou Ave.) in Athens.
