ECOTEC – Environmental Technologies & Photovoltaic Systems

Bigger in size and with more participations than all
previous editions, the 3rd international exhibition «ECOTEC –
Environmental Technologies & Photovoltaic Systems» will
start on Thursday April 22 in the Expo Athens exhibition centre in
Anthoussa Attica. This is
considered to be the biggest exhibition for environmental technologies
in the Balkans region, with more than 200 exhibitors from 15
countries (Germany, France, UK, Italy, Denmark, Spain, Czech
Republic, USA, China, Israel, Korea and others) and specializes in the
sectors of renewable energy sources, recycling, urban and industrial
waste management, energy saving, eco building, alternative fuel,
environmental restoration.
The
exhibition will last till Sunday, April 25 and the official
inauguration will be held on Thursday, April 22 on 3pm with the
cocktail party held by the organizing company «T Expo» in the reception area of Expo
Athens.
«ECOTEC – Environmental Technologies &
Photovoltaic Systems» is under the auspice of the Ministry
of Environment and Climate Change and the Hellenic
Federation of Enterprises (SEV), while supported by the Center
for Renewable Energy Sources (CRES) and the most important
scientific and business associations related to the environmental
field.The exhibition is sponsored by the companies Aleo
Solar, RenApps,
Micplast
and Procom
Energy while great communication sponsors are «Ecotec» and «Skai».
The exhibition is framed by the «Ecoforum», a 4-day convention for environmental
technologies in which important personalities from Greece and abroad
will participate, showing great interest for executives of Local
Administrations and municipalities.
This national convention includes conferences by CRES
(Centre for Renewable Energy Sources), the embassy of Denmark
(in which the Minister of Environment, Energy and Climate Change Ms.
Tina Birbili will present the Ministry’s programming),
HSWMA (Hellenic Solid Waste Management Association), PASEPPE
(Greek Association of Environmental Protection Companies), ECOWEEK,
QUALITY NET and others.
